The Gracie Award

The Gracie Award was established in 2017 in honor of Gracie Doran and her continued contributions and advocacy for performing arts education. From co-creating The Rising Stars, a dance movement class for children with Special needs, to being an ambassador for Dance Discovery Foundation, Make a Wish Foundation and the American Heart and Stroke Association, Gracie's unbelievable journey, her inspiration and passion for dance and her incredible story has touched lives and been recognized across the world.

This Award honors a special individual with a demonstrable history for advocacy, and is awarded to one who exemplifies Gracie Doran's perseverance and dedication for performing arts education. And, her continued activism and mentorship not only in our community but throughout the nation.
